Botched Gynecomastia Surgeries

The following images show botched Gynecomastia results. All of these were collected from other users within a 6-month time span. Some have doctors associated with the images as well as what was performed while most do not. There are many, many more that are not shown here. I cannot simply keep up with the amount of botched operations posted online every day. Plastic surgeons showcase their best results only. Now you can see the other side.

The common theme here is an inexperienced or non-board certified surgeon. Not following post-op instructions carefully may also lead to poor scarring and contour irregularities. Please visit wound care and list of common gynecomastia surgeons to help mitigate your risks of being added here.

These pictures were gathered after months of research and include the external image source along with any known pertinent information regarding what was performed.

Patient 1: Crater

Dr. Mordcai Blau Excision New York, NY Badboy3

A terrible outcome from one of the most well-known gyno experts. Perfect example as to how risky the surgery is, even if a talented doctor is used.

Post operative he claimed that all surgeries for gynecamastia have indentation when you move your arms to anything but the side position. He even went as far as to claim that he tells his patients this. src

The only thing being is that my Dr. was suppose be one of the best and specialized. It is so unethical how these Dr’s. continually get to do damage because everyone professional and otherwise, are worried about law suits etc. src

Before surgery, this patient did a ton of research on the topic and his doctor, yet still winded up with a bad result

I’ve been researching non-stop so if he can’t answer all of my questions profusely along with provide proof of past gynecomastia clientele I WILL back out. I’m not letting him butcher me. Promise. :) source

The puffy tissue below my left pec muscle causes my nipple to retract because it pushes against the scar and is higher than the muscle. It also disrupts the lining of the muscle.

The surgery removed gland and fat (combined 250cc) through an incision in the armpit (axial location). Since then I’ve noticed a “crater” deformity that looks to need a revision to correct.

I got left with permanent 1.5CM thick red hypertrophic scar around both areolas. I have had four rounds of steroid injections, 3 being cortison and 1 being kenalog. I’ve also tried hyper pigmentation makeup and micro needling. Nothing working.

It’s been 16 months since my surgery is done and my left nipple is indented. The right nipple is a little bit saggy, but ok. My right gland was almost twice as big. Concerning my left nipple, and as I don’t want an invasive procedure anymore, my surgron suggested fat grafting. He already told me the fat can be absorbed and thus the procedure should be repeated 2 or 3 times.
